Aboard our 62’ Sailing Catamaran, “East Wind”

Our Most Popular Excursion -
A full day of Sailing, Snorkeling, Exploring and Buffet Lunch
10:00 am to 3:30 pm.
$69. per person plus applicable taxes (effective December 1, 2006)

Upon departing Marina Puerto Del Rey, our guests enjoy stunning views of the “El Yunque” mountains and the the Fajardo coastline. After a comfortable sail, of about 45 minutes, (depending on the wind!), we anchor at one of the small deserted islands and cays off the Northeast Coast of Puerto Rico. Icacos is our usual destination, but our Captain will take you where the conditions and snorkeling are the best for that day, sometimes Palominito, Cayo Lobo or Palominos.

The catamaran is anchored close to the beach, where our guests step off into shallow water and spend about 2 hours walking on the beach, beachcombing, and swimming in the crystal clear waters. Snorkeling instruction is offered at this time. Our patient crew members will assist anyone who hasn't snorkled before, or who would like a snorkling refresher lesson. Onboard, we serve an unlimited Lunch Buffet of fresh fruits, fresh-baked breads, sliced deli meats, cheeses, tuna salad, gourmet pasta salad, coleslaw and chips other salads are also included... depending on our creative chef's specialty of the day. Sodas, water, juices, Piña Coladas, our famous Tropical Rum Punch are included along with chips and cookies. Beer and mixed drinks are also available.

After Lunch is served, we take the boat a short distance and anchor over the reef for about 2 hours of snorkeling. A leisurely sail back to Marina Puerto Del Rey brings us to the dock at 3:30 pm.

Note: The East Wind offers an expansive deck area for lounging, cushioned seating and tables, two “stairways to the sea” for easy access, 8 feet of glass bottom windows in our underwater viewing area and a Waterslide with running water! We provide quality snorkeling gear and underwater camaras are available onboard for sale. Do bring towels, sunscreen and wear light clothing over a swim suit. There are two restrooms on board, (men’s and women’s), a fresh water shower and plenty of cabin space for guests to sit in the shade or tuck away belongings.
